Planned Parenthood recognized the effectiveness of David's efforts when it labeled his town "the most anti-choice place in the nation." David led the first-ever 40 Days for Life campaign in College Station, Texas. He and his wife Margaret have two children, Claire and Patrick. |

Bishop Michael J. ByrnesAuxiliary Bishop of Detroit: Bishop Byrnes attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. He entered formation at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and was ordained May 25, 1996, at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit by then-archbishop Cardinal Adam Maida. Byrnes’s passions include participating in marathons and triathlons. Last year, at his encouragement, dozens of seminarians took part in the annual Detroit marathon. |
